Where to find an Internet Poker Table and join the Room

Finding a table is very simple at most Internet poker sites. Simply find the tab for the game you’d like to play in the lobby of software interface, click on it, then click on an empty seat.

Most sites break out the games they offer by category (such as NL Hold’em, Stud, Omaha, etc.) and then display all the tables that are currently running games, arranged by the table limits.

Decide what game you’d like to play, as well as what limit. Then it’s simply a matter of finding a table with an empty seat, sitting down, and buying chips. As long as you’re not playing a tournament, you can play as long as you like, leaving whenever you feel like it.

Nearly every site allows you to play multiple tables at the same time, too, so you’re not limited to just playing a single table, although that might be best when just starting out. Once you get your feet wet, though, you can play as many tables as you like, even mixing together games like Hold’em and Omaha, playing both at the same time!
